What happened to all our Gold?

In light of the recent price action of gold and 6000 years of indisputable evidence that gold is money, where has all the gold gone from Canada's central bank? As a nation, we had 652 tonnes of gold in 1980. We now have virtually none.

Can someone at Canada's central bank please explain the reasons why we have no gold?
